NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4800

NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4800 Image NVIDIA NV28 A2 Image
The GeForce4 Ti 4800 was a graphics card by NVIDIA, launched in March 2003. Built on the 150 nm process, and based on the NV28 A2 graphics processor, the card supports DirectX 8.1. The NV28 A2 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 101 mm² and 36 million transistors. It features 4 pixel shaders and 2 vertex shaders, 8 texture mapping units and 4 ROPs. Due to the lack of unified shaders you will not be able to run recent games at all (which require unified shader/DX10+ support). NVIDIA has placed 128 MB DDR memory on the card, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 300 MHz, memory is running at 325 MHz.
Being a single-slot card, its power draw is not exactly known. Display outputs include: 2x DVI, 1x S-Video. GeForce4 Ti 4800 is connected to the rest of the system using an AGP 8x interface. The card measures 216 mm in length, and features a single-slot cooling solution.
