NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT Mac Edition

NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT Mac Edition Image NVIDIA G73 Image
The GeForce 7600 GT Mac Edition was a graphics card by NVIDIA, launched in September 2006. Built on the 90 nm process, and based on the G73 graphics processor, in its G73-GT-N-A2 variant, the card supports DirectX 9.0c. The G73 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 125 mm² and 177 million transistors. It features 12 pixel shaders and 5 vertex shaders, 12 texture mapping units and 8 ROPs. Due to the lack of unified shaders you will not be able to run recent games at all (which require unified shader/DX10+ support). NVIDIA has placed 256 MB GDDR3 memory on the card, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 500 MHz, memory is running at 598 MHz.
We recommend the NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT Mac Edition for gaming with highest details at resolutions up to, and including, 800x600.
Being a single-slot card, its power draw is rated at 40 W maximum. Display outputs include: 2x DVI. GeForce 7600 GT Mac Edition is connected to the rest of the system using a PCIe 1.0 x16 interface.
