AMD Radeon R5 M240
The Radeon R5 M240 is a graphics card by AMD, launched in September 2014. Built on the 28 nm process, and based on the Jet graphics processor, in its Jet XT variant, the card supports DirectX 11.2. The Jet graphics processor is a relatively small chip with a die area of only 77 mm². It features 320 shading units, 20 texture mapping units and 8 ROPs. AMD has placed 1,024 MB DDR3 memory on the card, which are connected using a 64-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 1000 MHz, which can be boosted up to 1030 MHz, memory is running at 900 MHz.
We recommend the AMD Radeon R5 M240 for gaming with highest details at resolutions up to, and including, 1280x720.
Its power draw is not exactly known. Radeon R5 M240 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCIe 3.0 x8 interface.
