AMD Radeon R7 M260
The Radeon R7 M260 is a graphics card by AMD, launched in June 2014. Built on the 28 nm process, and based on the Topaz graphics processor, in its Topaz XT variant, the card supports DirectX 12.0. The Topaz graphics processor is a relatively small chip with a die area of only 77 mm². It features 384 shading units, 24 texture mapping units and 8 ROPs. AMD has placed 1,024 MB GDDR5 memory on the card, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 900 MHz, which can be boosted up to 940 MHz, memory is running at 900 MHz.
We recommend the AMD Radeon R7 M260 for gaming with highest details at resolutions up to, and including, 1280x720.
Its power draw is not exactly known. Radeon R7 M260 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCIe 3.0 x8 interface.
