AMD Radeon HD 7610M

AMD Radeon HD 7610M Image AMD Whistler Image
The Radeon HD 7610M is a graphics card by AMD, launched in January 2012. Built on the 40 nm process, and based on the Whistler graphics processor, in its Whistler LE variant, the card supports DirectX 11.0. The Whistler graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 104 mm² and 716 million transistors. Unlike the fully unlocked Radeon HD 7670M Rebrand, which uses the same GPU but has all 480 shaders enabled, AMD has disabled some shading units on the Radeon HD 7610M to reach the product's target shader count. It features 400 shading units, 20 texture mapping units and 8 ROPs. AMD has placed 1,024 MB GDDR3 memory on the card, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 450 MHz, memory is running at 800 MHz.
We recommend the AMD Radeon HD 7610M for gaming with highest details at resolutions up to, and including, 800x600.
Its power draw is rated at 20 W maximum. Radeon HD 7610M is connected to the rest of the system using a PCIe 2.0 x16 interface.
