ATI Radeon 7500

ATI Radeon 7500 Image ATI RV200 Image
The Radeon 7500 was a graphics card by ATI, launched in August 2001. Built on the 150 nm process, and based on the RV200 graphics processor, the card supports DirectX 8.1. The RV200 graphics processor is a relatively small chip with a die area of only 68 mm² and 60 million transistors. It features 2 pixel shaders and 1 vertex shaders, 6 texture mapping units and 2 ROPs. Due to the lack of unified shaders you will not be able to run recent games at all (which require unified shader/DX10+ support). ATI has placed 64 MB DDR memory on the card, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 290 MHz, memory is running at 230 MHz.
Being a single-slot card, its power draw is rated at 23 W maximum. Display outputs include: 1x DVI, 1x VGA, 1x S-Video. Radeon 7500 is connected to the rest of the system using an AGP 4x interface.
