The GeForce3 Ti500 was a performance graphics card by NVIDIA, launched in October 2001. Built on the 150 nm process, and based on the NV20 A5 graphics processor, the card supports DirectX 8.0. The NV20 A5 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 128 mm² and 57 million transistors. It features 4 pixel shaders and 1 vertex shaders, 8 texture mapping units and 4 ROPs. Due to the lack of unified shaders you will not be able to run recent games at all (which require unified shader/DX10+ support). NVIDIA has placed 64 MB DDR memory on the card, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 240 MHz, memory is running at 250 MHz.
Being a single-slot card, its power draw is not exactly known. Display outputs include: 1x DVI, 1x VGA, 1x S-Video. GeForce3 Ti500 is connected to the rest of the system using an AGP 4x interface. The card measures 183 mm in length, and features a single-slot cooling solution. Its price at launch was 349 US Dollars.
