Lamptron announced its newest system fan controller, the FC5. This four-channel fan controller fits into one 5.25" drive-bay, measures 148.5 x 42.5 x 77 mm, and powers each channel with up to 30W of power (ideal if two or more fans share a channel). Its bezel is crafted from CNC-milled blocks of 3/4" thick aluminum, with bezel options including silvery aluminum and graphite. Its panel includes four rotary knobs (each controls a channel), above which is the simple LCD display. Above each knob is displayed readings associated with the channel. The LCD color can be changed between red, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple, and white. Its pricing and availability are yet to be known.
