So the 9800 GTX is officially launched?

In the U.K. they're found under 200 GBP, which is about 400 USD (though that doesn't mean American businesses will sell them at such). The GTS 512 can be found for about 150GBP. Personally I think these prices are great.
The 8800 GTS 640 was upwards of 300 GBP even months after it launched and hovered around 220-250 until late late 2007, and the GTX sitting at 315-400 GBP (ya...that's bad) along side it.
Here we have better performance, better tech and revisions for almost half the price, and in some cases less.
EDIT: Looking around again, I've found a lot of places still selling the 8800 GTX at the same price as the 9800 GTX. While waiting for some time after a new product emerges, in order to get a cheaper price, is a rule of thumb, it might be worth possibly paying a little more now, to avoid the risk of the prices on the 9800s shooting up once the 8800 has gone EOL and the stock has been near sold out. At that point, they can send the prices up.
