Look at that. Its overpriced and it costs maybe 10$ to make, BUT it took A LOT of money to engineer. Same thing as the water block.

Hm. That is essentially just a regular quad with an unlocked multi. >_>

Sick, just sick. Half the price of what you can buy the card for now....lol, needless to say its not worth it.
EDIT: If it was silver for that price I would snap up all of them :D

Come on, regardless of the product used for the cost of the water block is outrageous. Specially when the product itself is rumored to reach EOL in a few months.
fourth only to silver, gold and carbon. not second.
Would a gold heatsink be the best?
i think the price might have something to do with how big it has to be and that its 100% copper...copper is not the cheapest thing to manufacture these days...but $250 does seem a bit expensive....i wonder if it will be available @ places like newegg?
by: jbunch07EVGA's AKIMBO Cooler took a few weeks to get to retailers like newegg after it was announced so im guessing this will be the same way.

by: jbunch07They have some B Stock stuff for crazy cheap tho. The 680i they have for 100$ is REALLY tempting. They also have a 8600GTS for 80$.

by: ShadowFoldSecond best, a diamond heatsink would be the best conductor of heat.
Would a gold heatsink be the best?
by: DrPepperGood luck affording both :p I wonder how well a diamond one would do anyway.

i dont think diamonds conduct heat all that great tbh but i could be wrong
by: jbunch07I don't wanna know. The last diamond I bought was the size of pci slot screw & costed more than my car, piff. That thing would probably blow your card & a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, & 5th mortgage :D
