The Swiss low noise cooling solution provider Arctic Cooling launched their latest RAM cooler Arctic RC earlier, providing a revolutionary RAM cooling solution for enthusiasts. To reinforce the cooling capacity of the ARCTIC RC, the company today launched the RC Turbo Module, a dual-fan cooler that reduces the RAM temperature even further.
Same as other ARCTIC COOLING products, the RC Turbo Module's dual 56mm fans are installed with low noise impeller. As a result, the fans are extremely quiet which generate only 0.1 Sone of noise even spinning at full load. Gamers can enjoy the both, the coolness and quietness brought by this RAM fan cooler. The RC Turbo Module is suitable for one to four RAMs with two pieces of ARCTIC RC attached to it. The RC Turbo Module offers a 6-year limited warranty. It will be available in July 2008. The MSRP is US$13.95 and 8.95€ (excl VAT).

AC sells the Arctic RC RAM-sinks:
You install these over each of your bare modules. Then use this Turbo Module over it (like the Corsair Dominator block). This kit is way more silent than the Dominator block if you were to go by AC's claims.

Thanks for showing us that Bta. I'll have to wait on this product... I'll wait and see if Nflesher, or T_ski can get this for review before I ever think about grabbing it. Because some ram, like my Tracers, have the dang heat spreader just glued to it! Dang them!

by: GallatinIf there is a clip on the heatspreader then you can take it off...I have two different kinds of the Ballistix Tracers. The 1st gen with the heat spreader that you can take off, and the 2nd gen where its no way you can take one off unless taking a chip with it.. It just all depends on the if there is two metal clips on the heat spreader...

Yeah, the top ones are the first gen, the second one can be ether 2nd or 3rd. 3rd gen are the ones with just one line of data lights.. I don't think you could use the AC ramsinks on the 2nd and 3rd gen.
I like the look of this ram cooler, but my AF64pro blocks access to 2 ram slots.
looks pretty cool, will have to keep a eye open for this. As for those ram coolers i could put them on my G.Skill just wondering if it be worth it.

I like the look of this ram cooler, but my AF64pro blocks access to 2 ram slots.
it looks tall enough to work with the OCZ reaper or AXEram 1200MHz kit.

yeah with the xig, I could use the far two open ram slots with these heatsinks and all the way probably for the cooler. I just dont know if its worth getting this. Do ram coolers really work? Price is very nice though.

With the OCZ cooler the Xig cooler doesn't hurt me at all. I still have all the ram covered.. Even with a 38mm fan hooked up to it..

Pancho: I really haven't seen people on TPU with the Corsair cooler... I see more people with the OCZ ram cooler then that one...

too bad i already have the Corsair kit. It does work very well. This should also. The corsair dominator fans don't make much noise. These are probably silent. I know the fans on my AC Accelero Extreme are near silent.

But for sure those sinks look nice, might have to get some, lucky for me I have a 120mm fan right next to my ram blowing straight across it :)

The Corsair is also a good kit, I think its the OCZ one that has the little holes (restricts about 60% of the air)

I have nothing against water cooling kits (sometimes I use H20 myself) BUT the amount of people using H20 to cool memory is like .0001%, the AC kit would work for probably 98% of the world and be affordable as well.

I wouldnt say pointless (it looks cool) and if done right probably works good too.
As you get older "Value" becomes more important so getting the best product for the money matters a lot. Thats one thing about AC stuff, you usually get your monies worth.

Best part of Arctic Cooling is that all their stuff is extremely affordable. I mean all it takes is ~$25 in all to drop your DDR3 1600 kit's temperature from 70 to 37 C, something only water cooling is expected to deliver.

That may be the replacement for my Corsair Airflow memory cooler, which many scoff at, but does actually work, and quite well from my findings...those 3 little fans push a pretty decent ammount of air and do a great job with their design...I just don't like most 2-fan solutions due to their "flimsy-ness" appearance...nothing can top the "tough as a brick" design of the Corsair, but AC makes good products...we'll just have to see.
I may have to dig up a link where I had a temp diode mounted between my memory and it's heatsink with before and no memory cooler and Corsair Airflow...the difference was pretty damn good in a case that had barely decent airflow to my Antec 900. Memory coolers are a great investment no matter what you choose.
