Get ready to download some new NVIDIA drivers. GeForce release 182.08 brings WHQL support for all GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, and 200-series desktop GPUs. This driver adds support for GeForce GTS 250, and new SLI profiles for the latest games.

This chip is a rebadged older nvidia GPU. When its obvious what their up to why give them any credit worthy of your front page.

This chip is a rebadged older nvidia GPU.

who told you that, the palit 9800GTX+ uses the exact same PCB as the Palit GTS250 so thats odd, its heavily dependent on the cards maker, and more and more of these companies are making their own PCB's now.
but I am going by the only card I know for sure uses the same pcb because tpu's gts250 review is the first detailed 250 review I have seen

What I was meant to be referring to was the reference GTS250, which looks like 8800GTS 512's.
"Adds support" for the 8800GT they released years ago. Nice.
Nvidia need to pay some attention to the up coming titles such as HAWX DX10 strutting issues and Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena poor performance.
by: KainXSI'm always amazed on the complains about rebadging (i.e 8800 GTS > 9800 GTX > 9800 GTX+ > GTS250). Reference GTS 250 DOES have an improved PCB, memory and other components (9800 GTX had too, 98'' GX+ not only that but 55nm GPU...). The only thing in common is the GPU.

And maybe this will take you guys by surprise, but Ati's HD 4850, HD4870 and HD4870 X2 TOO have the same GPU inside!!! Are the same cards then?? Think about it...
I can agree that Nvidia is giving too much freedom to their partners concerning non-reference designs though. It's just an excuse for partners to sell their old designs as new card.
