Since Microsoft kicked off its WHQL certification program for Windows 7, hardware vendors such as NVIDIA have taken serious initiatives to release new drivers that are certified to run with the new OS. Less than a week after releasing GeForce 185.85 WHQL drivers for Windows 7, NVIDIA today made nForce WHQL drivers official. NVIDIA uses a unified driver for its nForce series motherboard chipsets, which are of two main classes: for chipsets with integrated GeForce graphics, and for chipsets without integrated graphics. nForce WHQL 15.35 supports nForce chipsets for both AMD and Intel platforms without integrated graphics, while nForce WHQL 15.37 deals with support for nForce chipsets for both platforms with integrated graphics. Refer to the "supported products" tab at NVIDIA's driver page for more information. The driver package provides drivers for the Ethernet controller(s), SATA/IDE controller, RAID/AHCI controller, SMU, the IGP (depending on the driver you choose, and if an IGP is present), and provides Network Management Tools along with RAIDTool. You need to install the appropriate driver irrespective of your chipset featuring an IGP that has been disabled.

so now we have new win7 drivers , is that mean vista drivers not work on win7 now
Windows 7 is Direct-X 11
Win7 Also has a form of "legacy DirectX emulation support" - So in general the Win7 Drivers do need to be a little more advanced than standard Vista.
As for Will Vista work on Win7 - Once all has settled down and FINAL versions are out - I don't think so.
Or whatever - At the end of the day Win7 Is clearly Microsoft's attempt to flush their polished turd vista down once and for all - I'm not sure we will see too much mainstream support for Vista once W7 really takes off.

by: hayder.masterWell I think nVidia is just trying to be ready BEFORE the cards support DX11 this time - Unlike with Vista where DX10 cards where already on the shelf, and no drivers where working properly yet.
what is improve , DX11 no any nvidia right now card support it
Windows 7 Is a chance for Microsoft and nVidia to try and make a clean start, and put that Ugly past (Vista) behind them :)
by: JrRacinFanI dont have a flash driver or wireless adapter. I am use to install drivers the old fashion was.

Windows 7 has drivers preinstalled for pretty much everything. I didn't have to install any drivers for my moms new computer.. She doesn't game so the stock drivers do fine.
