ECS is dressing up two new motherboards for a gala launch at Computex 2009. The A785GM-M and P55H-A were recently announced by the company to be heading for display and launch at the event, in its Computex booth invitation press-release. AlienBabelTech published exclusive pictures of the two.
To begin with, the A785GM-M is a micro-ATX motherboard based on the new AMD 785G chipset. The chipset features a Radeon HD 4200-class IGP. It is possibly based on the new RS880 core. The board supports AMD AM3 socket CPUs, and provides four DDR3 DIMM slots. Its display connectivity options include D-Sub, DVI, and HDMI. The rest of its connectivity includes FireWire, eSATA and one gigabit Ethernet interface.
The P55H-A on the other hand, is one of the company's first offerings that support the upcoming LGA-1156 socket processors. This is another of the motherboards we have seen so far, that lack display connectors, and hence, lack Intel Flexible Display Interface support, that connects integrated graphics processors on some CPUs to their output. It provides two PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slots (electrically dual x8 when both populated). Four DDR3 DIMM slots support dual-channel DDR3 memory, 8 channel audio, gigabit Ethernet, and 6 SATA II ports make for the rest of it.

I think that ECS AM3 board is gonna be in my HTPC...not until X-mas:cry:
That p55 has a 4 pin molex connecter ? ... never seen that in a while.

by: crtechaanndd here it is in Taipei they have the acual roadmap picks ext. If your looking for the "890 FX" which i think u mean thats a ways off the first 880 they will release is a crippled version to replace 780 (IE: 4770 for 4850) Its translated too.

In any case it looks like those will be the new ASUS "midranged" boards. the 890+750 will be a bit down the road.
OO and theres other picks too of "the good stuff" forgot to say CRSII and ROGST

The AM3 board looks nice, some huge HS's on the WRM's and NB, I like it.

My GF's Biostar 790GX/SB750 has it, but thats for the built in video, wouldn't think this would need one for that.
Def. reminds me of the Lan party boards, has ECS brought their bios options/Quality up to par much at all recently?
I have an old K7S5A, as rock solid as that thing was, it was also extremely flaky at times... been wary of ECS ever since.

Ask Fitseries 3, he's been talking about their i7 board as if the sun shone out of some hole on its underside.
by: DrPepperYeah, I don't think it does either, so not really sure. With my gf's board it makes sense, since theirs a decent onboard video that needs power. But on her board you don't have to have that plugged in, just says its for stability, so I give it power since it might effect the OC on her system otherwise.

The AM3 board does look appetizing for a HTPC rig.
first Radeon HD 4200-class IGP mobo with hybard crossfire will be great , but i think this should be next generation mobo named as 880G
