Unreleased Razer Viper V3 HyperSpeed Gaming Mouse Appears on Ebay

A brave soul has listed an unreleased Razer Viper V3 HyperSpeed wireless gaming mouse on Ebay and included some close-up shots of the unboxed peripheral—a MouseReview subreddit post brought attention to this product leak yesterday. The seller is located in Springfield, Virginia and was charging $169.00 (buy it now) for an "open box" product. The Ebay listing seems to have attracted a buyer, but the mouse has likely passed through a couple of hands prior to the online exchange.

One of the subreddit commenters claims that they know the buyer and backstory behind their acquiring of a pre-launch Razer gaming accessory—they allege that a sponsored player participating in a Blast CS:GO tournament was willing to part ways with a sample/preview unit (presumably a stealthy transaction). Specifications and features have not been divulged, but leaked photos indicate that the Viper V3 HyperSpeed sports an outer shell aesthetic similar to the DeathAdder V3 PRO's design. HyperSpeed models tend to offer better value for money - when compared to top-flight PRO gaming mice - with more mid-range specifications. The photos from the Ebay listing suggest that this particular Viper continues the series tradition of featuring a removable battery compartment.

Delux Updates its Flagship M800PRO Gaming Mouse, Pre-Orders Open for April Launch

Delux is lining up significant upgrades for its top-of-the-line M800PRO model, which is a not too subtle clone of Razer's Viper series of symmetrical-shaped gaming mice. In order to match the competition in terms of specifications and features, Delux has sought to upgrade the M800PRO's internal hardware and has also made changes to its externals.

Pixart's PAW3395 has been selected as the new optical sensor, which is a significant generational upgrade over the previous M800PRO iteration's PAW3370. Delux has not confirmed, within its specifications list, whether MotionSync will be enabled by default. The upgraded sensor is capable of running this feature, and the vast majority of gaming mouse manufacturers have chosen to enable it. The PAW3395 is rated for a 26,000 maximum DPI, 650 IPS speed, 50 g acceleration and 1000 Hz polling rate. The lift off distance (LOD) is adjustable between heights of 1 and 2 mm.

Patriot Viper VPR100 and VPN100 SSDs Pictured

Patriot showed off many new M.2 NVMe SSDs at its Computex 2019 booth, led by two Viper series models that caught our eyes, the VPR100 and VPN100. While technically an M.2-2280 drive, the Viper VPR100 features a chunky heatsink that makes the drive wider than 22 mm. This could be a problem if you're trying to install it in an M.2 slot positioned between two PCIe slots. The heatsink is studded with RGB LEDs. The drive is based on the Phison E12 controller and offers sequential transfer rates of up to 3450 MB/s reads, and up to 3000 MB/s writes. The Viper VPN100 is practically the same drive, but with a heatsink that sticks to the 22 mm width limit. You can run both drives without their heatsinks.

Hands On With Patriot's RGB Mouse Pad, Mechanical Keyboard and Gaming Mice

While visiting Patriot, we also took a moment to examine their latest PC gaming peripherals which included the absurd yet genuinely excellent RGB rollout mouse pad. Available in two sizes (350 x 260 x 3 mm and 900 x 420 x 3 mm) it is made of a polyester and natural rubber with a PCBA and optical fiber material for those sweet RGB LED effects. Speaking of the RGB effects, it offers two zones via software allowing for customization of color and brightness along with flash and breathing modes. Using a button switch will manually allow for seven color options and auto breathing. Overall it was a unique offering that grabbed our attention. Regardless of if you love or hate the RGB fad on some products here it just feels fitting oddly enough.
