Today, Lenovo announced several new products and solutions at its annual holiday product launch. The new additions to the portfolio - which include AI-tuned innovations in gaming, a groundbreaking 3D monitor, software solutions, versatile accessories, and more - are available to explore here.

The new Lenovo Legion Go is the company's first Windows gaming handheld device that gives gamers more freedom to game however—and wherever—they want. ASUS released pictures of its upcoming VG248QE 24-inch 3D monitor, built for gaming. It supports a blazing fast 144 Hz refresh rate, which ensures an eye-pleasing 72 Hz per-plane when using stereoscopic 3D. It is based on an older TN-film panel that's LED-backlit, but its narrower viewing angles shouldn't matter to gamers. Apart from its stellar refresh rate, it features 1 ms response time, and 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It needs dual-link DVI or DisplayPort 1.2, to keep up with its steep bandwidth requirements. HDMI is also available, though it could limit refresh-rate to 72 Hz (due to lack of bandwidth). The VG248QE stand supports height, tilt, and 90° pivot rotation (to a portrait mode). It packs 2W stereo speakers. ASUS Splendid software comes included, which lets you tweak image quality and display clock. All this could come with a hefty price-tag, around 3,000 Swedish Kronor including 25% VAT (US $450).

AOC has just announced the European arrival of its latest widescreen monitor, the d2757Ph. This 27-inch model features an IPS panel, LED backlighting, and uses Film-type Patterned Retarder (FPR) technology to allow 3D viewing via polarized glasses (the display's bundle includes a pair of 3D glasses, and 3D clip-on glasses).

AOC's monitor also has a 10.6 mm profile, a slim frame, a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 5 ms response time, a contrast ratio of 1,000:1 (20,000,000:1 DCR), plus one D-Sub and two HDMI inputs. The d2757Ph is backed by a three-year warranty and costs €279.

AOC Europe has today introduced the d2357Ph, a 23-inch slim (5.8 mm) monitor with a TN panel, WLED backlighting, and 3D capabilities (it uses passive 3D technology). AOC's new display has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 2 ms response time, a contrast ratio of 1,000:1 (20,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio), 170/160 degree viewing angles, a hotkey for easy 2D to 3D conversion, plus one D-Sub and two HDMI 1.4 connectors.

The d2357Ph is set to become available in April priced at 239 Euro.

LG Electronics has today announced the release (in Japan at least) of its D2500N-PN 25-inch monitor offering glasses-free 3D (TriDef software needs to be installed to enable 3D). LG's 3D display makes use of a TN panel, comes with a built-in webcam (which tracks the user's head movement to optimize the 3D experience), and features a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 5 ms response time, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio (5,000,000:1 DCR), and 250 cd/m2 maximum brightness.

The D2500N-PN includes DVI and HDMI connectors and is expected to become available at the end of this month priced at about 150,000 yen (~ $1,923).

Introduced last summer in Europe, AOC's e2352Phz monitor is now making its way to the North American market to offer customers there a reasonably affordable 'flicker free' 3D experience. AOC's 3D display has a 23-inch LED-backlit panel, a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 2 ms response time, a dynamic contrast ratio of 20,000,000:1, two 2W speakers, plus D-Sub, DVI and HDMI 1.4a connectivity.

The e2352Phz is bundled with two pairs of passive polarized 3D glasses (one regular pair and one that attaches to prescription glasses) and has a recommended price tag of $299.

LG Electronics has today unveiled in South Korea a sexy new (passive) 3D monitor, the 27-inch Cinema 3D DM92 series. While most details about this display will be supplied at CES 2012 in January, LG couldn't refrain from teasing and mentioned that the DM92 has a slim (1 mm) bezel and makes use of an e-IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel with 178/178 degree viewing angles.

The DM92 also boasts an LED backlight and hopefully it comes with a native resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels. Hopefully.

LG Electronics (LG) extends its glasses-free 3D monitor lineup with the 25-inch DX2500, which incorporates glasses-free parallax barrier 3D and head-tracking technologies. With the DX2500, LG becomes the first in the industry to receive TÜV Rheinland certification for a glasses-free 3D monitor.

Zalman is readying a new 24-inch 3D LCD monitor, the Trimon ZM-M240W, which is a design upscale of the 21.5-inch ZM-M215W. The display is bundled with a pair of stereoscopic glasses, and lets users switch between 3D and 2D display modes. The TN-panel used has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 (full HD), with a response time of 5 ms. It has a dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000:1, and input connectivity which includes DVI and D-Sub. Expected to launch sometime in May, the Trimon ZM-M240W will cost around 380 EUR.

LG Display Co., Ltd., a leading innovator of thin-film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) technology, announced today that it has succeeded in developing a Full HD 23-inch 3D LCD panel with enhanced brightness for monitors.

The 3D panel employs LG Display's proprietary technology to realize Full HD images with twice the brightness of conventional 3D LCD panels. The product boasts the world's highest brightness among 3D displays. 3D LCDs apply time-sequential technologies so that the right and left eyes see different images. This makes the images look three-dimensional for human eye. In conventional 3D LCDs, the technologies were generally installed outside the panel or into the viewing glass.
