Green House Releases a Compact Bluetooth 4.0 USB Adapter

Green House has kicked off this week by announcing the GH-BHDA42, an USB adapter providing Bluetooth connectivity. Seen below, the device measures 14.2 (W) x 19.3 (D) x 4.5 (H) (mm) and weighs just 2.4 grams, it features support for the latest Bluetooth specifications (4.0), and allows for transfer speeds of up to 3 Mbps (the maximum range is 10 meters).

The GH-BHDA42 is backed by a 6-month warranty and costs about $16.3.

TP-LINK's New Wireless N 'Nano' USB Adapter Delivers 150 Mbps in One Tiny Package

TP-LINK, a global provider of networking products, today announced its new Wireless N "Nano" USB Adapter (TL-WN725N). The 150Mbps speed makes the Nano Adapter ideal for everyday use including web browsing, file sharing and video streaming.

ORICO Unveils USB 3.0 to eSATA Adapter Dongle

For those still stuck with eSATA enclosures, with lack of eSATA, free internal SATA ports on new generation motherboards, Chinese company ORICO, which specializes in consumer storage and accessories unveiled the CT6539U3E. It plugs into USB 3.0 (backwards-compatible with USB 2.0) ports, and gives out an eSATA port. The eSATA port runs at a maximum host data-rate of 3 Gb/s. The adapter draws power from the USB port it's plugged into. The USB 3.0 to SATA host controller supports activity LEDs, and should support AHCI, for hot-plugging capabilities to work normally. It is priced at 100 RMB (US $15).

Donya Intros SATA Adapter to Fit 2.5" Drives in Slimline Optical Drive Bay

Donya introduced a unique accessory that lets you install a 2.5-inch HDD or SSD in the optical drive bay of your notebook (while stripping it of one). Called the DN-69810, these adapters are available in 12.7 mm and 9.5 mm-thick variants with SATA and IDE interface options. The enclosures aren't much more than a SECC cage with an interface relay. Measuring 128 x 126 x 12.7/9.5 mm, the adapters weigh about 60 g. The adapter could be sold through various peripheral brands, worldwide.

EVGA Develops Sleeved PCI-E Cable Adapters for Select Graphics Cards

EVGA developed a new accessory that could give the graphics card area a mean muscular look, without putting you through the grueling task of sleeving your PSU's cables. The Sleeved PCI-E Cable Adapter accessory by EVGA lets you extend the PCI-E cables of your PSU just enough that they could appear sleeved, when looked through the side-panel window. The contact between the adapter and your PSU's actual PCI-E power connectors can be tucked away behind the motherboard. Pictured below is an adapter that plugs in two 6-pin PCI-E connectors, and plugs out an 8-pin connector. For now, EVGA could bundle the accessory with select models of its graphics cards, it's likely that the part could make it to the accessories section of the EVGA online store, too.
