Avexir Unveils RAIDEN Series High-end DDR3 Memory with Lightning Tubes

Boutique memory modules designer Avexir unveiled its flagship DDR3 memory module, the RAIDEN. This double-height module features a plasma tube on its top, which lights up with a blue lightning-effect, which could look awesome in cyberpunk case-mods. The module could pair particularly well with ASUS Z97 Sabertooth Mark S, ASUS X99 series, and MSI Krait series motherboards.

Form aside, the module has some pretty formidable specs - an 8-layer main PCB, XMP profiles of up to DDR3-2400 MHz, a machined aluminium heatsink drawing heat away from the DRAM chips, and hand-binned DRAM chips for the best overclocked performance. The RAIDEN comes in speeds of DDR3-1866 and DDR3-2400, densities of 4 GB and 8 GB, and in dual- and quad-channel kits that are combinations of the two top-level specs. Avexir didn't reveal pricing or availability.

Avexir Blitz Red Dragon 1.1 Memory Series Now Available

There are people in our world, who are ashamed of their dusty computer and they mostly hide it under a desk. They don't want to look at it everyday, cause they don't consider it beautiful or interesting. Thankfully there are also people who put their computer on the desk. They choose elegant and nice looking chassis with window, adequate cooling, motherboard, memory and matching cables. All selected very carefully, so the entire set looks like a real state of the art, something of what we can be truly proud of
.
If your computer is placed under your desk, there is no sense for you to read the rest of this news. However if you belong to the proper group, there is today a release of new interesting memory series named Avexir Blitz 1.1 Red Dragon. Modules are built from a black PCB and superimposed black and red color heatspreaders with unique stylistic design showing a red dragon. At the top of memory manufacturer installed red lights, which gently pulsates as if our RAM was actually breathing. This gives a particularly striking effect in the evening, when our computer becomes the main source of light in our room.

Avexir Debuts the Blitz 1.1 Series Memory

The Avexir brand is an established manufacturer associated with producing top quality, high-end RAM memory. Avexir is one of the only manufactures in which the factories hand check each module when it comes to overclocking and working in dual and quad channel modes. The modules are packed into elegant boxes only when they pass thorough quality control tests on different systems including AMD and Intel processors. Other manufacturers unfortunately don't do such controlled hand quality checks, which means users are more likely to encounter a faulty DDR module, which can cause incompatibilities and headache for the user.

Avexir presents today on European market five new series of quality checked memories:
  • Avexir BLITZ 1.1 Original White LED
  • Avexir BLITZ 1.1 OCF Yellow LED
  • Avexir BLITZ 1.1 ELG Yellow LED
  • Avexir BLITZ 1.1 ELR Red LED
  • Avexir BLITZ 1.1 GBOC Orange LED

Avexir Announces Core Gold Series Memory

In every Avexir office, there is hanging motto - "What we believe is how we behave". That is the mission and a way Avexir always wanted to act, so we could see that the manufacturer policy is in some points totally different from other memory brands. For example in Avexir factory after producing, each piece is tested on several computers and it goes to packaging and sales only if it fully pass the JEDEC tests. With this brand you know what you are buying.

Thanks to its quality policy Avexir is known as producer of high quality RAM, especially for those who like to overclock their systems. Today European market gets new model named Avexir Core GOLD with yellow LEDs. Memory serie supports Intel XMP 1.3 technology, which allows to overclock computer to the maximum and squeeze as much performance from PC as possible and not be satisfied only with factory defaults.

New Avexir Memory Modules Put Up A Lightshow

Avexir memory modules always caught our eyes at tradeshows for being extremely 'boutique' in their approach to the market. Not that we're complaining. They didn't disappoint this time either, showing off some colorful, shiny, and glowy modules of many shapes and sizes. The first kind below are Core Gold, with tops that light up gold, which should go well with ASUS' mainline Z87 motherboards, and ECS' Golden Boards. These modules are available at speeds ranging all the way from PC3-10600 (DDR3-1333) to PC3-22400 (DDR3-2800), in 4 GB and 8 GB densities, and in single-, dual-, and quad-channel kits. Some of these ship with two XMP profiles.

Moving on, the next kind are Platinum Red. These black beauties lack headspreaders, use high-grade Elpida-made DRAM chips, and feature pairs of tiny red LEDs lining the top portions on one of their sides. These modules are available in speeds ranging from PC3-10600 to PC3-12800 (DDR3-1600), and are available in the same densities and packages as the Core series. There are plenty of motherboards that look good with black and red. Next up, are the same modules with glowy heatspreaders on. These heatspreaders pack an acrylic bar that disperse light from these LEDs, and look awesome when installed. The last exhibit is an example of just how far Avexir will go to live up to its boutique reputation. It shows modules with tiny fluorescent lamps lining the top, which work at low voltages, probably using external power. Starting a florescent lamp takes additional circuitry, and you can find that in the picture.
