Enermax Unleashed the New LIQTECH Power Liquid Cooler Series

Enermax's newly developed liquid CPU coolers series LIQTECH 120X and LIQTECH 240 feature a high quality aluminum water block to improve the cooling efficiency with minimum noise, an innovative radiator structure that provides a seamless contact area and increases heat dissipating speed. Foremostly, the unique patented Shunt-Channel-Technology (SCT) hidden in the water block eliminates the heat surges and boosts the thermal conductivity. The LIQTECH series also comes with 2 latest Enermax Twister Pressure PWM fans (high-pressure airflow) with smart APS (Adjustable Peak Speed) control providing 3 peak RPM options. The High-Pressure Airflow fans are detachable fan blades design for easy cleaning solution.

The LIQTECH series comes in two variations, the LIQTECH 120X is a 120 mm length radiator and the LIQTECH 240 is a one piece 240 mm full size radiator. For this series, radiators are designed with innovative SEAMLESS structure, which offers 120% contact area than conventional structure (Figure 1). This makes the fins to carry away more heat from the pipes and cool the coolant efficiently than traditional structures; yet, with the radiator thickness of 43 mm only.

Prolimatech Announces Basic Series CPU Coolers

With premium (>$50) CPU air-cooler market getting hammered by low-cost all-in-one liquid cooling solutions, premium CPU cooler manufacturers such as Prolimatech are feeling the heat. The company launched its first line of low-cost CPU air-coolers under the Basic series. The coolers come in five sizes, and feature no-frills designs that make use of aluminium and copper. The series includes the Megahalems Basic, which was launched this January, which is now rehashed as the Basic 84. The series starts off with the Basic 45. Measuring 100 mm x 55 mm x 125 mm (LxWxH), it weighs 288 g, and features a simple aluminium fin tower with a pair of 6 mm copper heat pipes. A 92 mm PWM-controlled fan is included, which spins between 1000~2000 RPM.

Next up, is the Basic 48, which is a step up over Basic 45. It has the same exact dimensions and included fan, but weighs a higher 309 g due to a third nickel-plated copper heat-pipe. A notch above the Basic 45 and Basic 48 is the Basic 65. Measuring 130 mm x 50 mm x 148 mm (LxWxH), it features an average-sized aluminium fin tower to which heat is fed by three 6 mm-thick heat-pipes, and ventilated by a 120 mm PWM-controlled spinner that revs between 600 and 1,600 RPM. The Basic 68 is its premium twin, which features four heat-pipes.

Spire Rolls Out Odyssey 345 Notebook Cooler

Introducing the Odyssey 345 laptop base-cooler and ergonomic stand is equipped with a large 140mm cooling fan. Additional laptop/notebook cooling is a must have these days, especially when working with the laptop on your lap. When no base-cooler is used the notebook may overheat and shut down. Also research from Yefim Sheynkin at the State University of New York has found that the heat from your laptop can elevate the temperature of your scrotum by up to 2.8 degrees which demonstrated link between high testicular temperature and infertility.

The Odyssey 345 laptop base is formed out of lightweight plastic, topped with an aluminum black mesh for unrestricted dissipation of the laptop/notebook heat. The ergonomic design and anti-slip features of the Odyssey series provide a comfortable computing experience. There is no need for an external power adapter, powered by your laptop's USB port (cable included). The Odyssey 345 is plug and play and ready to cool down your laptop or notebook alike. Compatible up to 15,4-inch large laptop computers makes this product the universal choice for laptop cooling and ergonomic use at home, in the office or even on the go.

EVGA GeForce GTX 770 4 GB Found Incompatible With EK-FC770 GTX

EK Water Blocks, Ljubljana based premium water cooling gear manufacturer, is issuing a note regarding changes in EK-FC770 GTX series water block compatibility list. It has come to our attention that EVGA GeForce GTX 770 graphics cards with 4GB of video memory are now incompatible with EK-FC770 GTX due to use of non-standard inductor coils, namely for the Vdd voltage regulation circuity. Force installing the water block on to the affected graphics card will result in dangerously warped circuit board and is as such deemed not safe for use (as shown on the photo below).

Scythe Presents Mugen 4 "PC Games Hardware Edition" CPU Cooler

Japanese manufacturer Scythe, famous for its innovative and market leading cooling concepts and accessories, introduces a new edition of the popular Mugen 4 CPU cooler.
