Cooler Master Releases the Silencio 452 Mid-Tower Case

Cooler Master, a leading creator, innovator and manufacturer of desktop components and more, today announced a new member of the Silencio Series, the Silencio 452.

Silent Computing
Representing the best solution for sound absorption with system builds of all levels, the Silencio Series delivers ultimate performance with minimal noise. Sound silencing foam padding seeks to severely reduce system noises produced by hard drives, cooling fans, and other devices. Combine this with a solid-steel frame, vibration inhibiting rubber feet, two silent cooling fans and the Silencio 452 severely reduces noise output. Those that value a quiet computing space will immensely appreciate the new ATX and microATX supporting Silencio 452.

Cooler Master Shows Off 2nd Generation N520 CPU Cooler

Cooler Master displayed the second-generation of the N520 CPU cooler it launched way back in 2009, which it calls N520 II, at the 2014 International CES. The N520 II appears slightly bigger and chunkier. That's because the aluminium fins have higher surface area, and look more symmetrical. Designed for two-fan push-pull configurations, the heatsink puts the airflow between the two fans in alignment, unlike the original N520. The N520 II uses four 8 mm-thick copper heat pipes to convey heat from the CPU directly to the fin stack, while a stylish ABS shroud tops it off. The included 120 mm PWM-controllable spinner is held by a fan-mount that blends with the design scheme of the rest of the cooler.

Cooler Master HybridFlow Case Fan Pictured

Hybrid-impeller fans are the rage again, following its launch by ASUS in its DirectCU Mini line of graphics cards. Cooler Master launched a case fan based on the same concept of an impeller with both lateral and axial flow blades, called HybridFlow. Unlike in a graphics card, where air flowing laterally has an escape through the rear panel, a case fan typically doesn't, and so Cooler Master designed the frame of the fan to funnel lateral flow outside (or wherever the fan's airflow is directed at). For now, HybridFlow comes in just the one size - 120 mm. Depending on how it's received, Cooler Master could try out other sizes.

By default the Glacer 360L is a CPU cooler but, according to Cooler Master, it can be 'upgraded to cool other components'. The product's price tag has yet to be revealed.

Cooler Master Intros the Hyper 103 CPU Cooler

Cooler Master launched the Hyper 103 compact tower-type CPU cooler it first unveiled way back in June, at the 2013 Computex. Its heatsink features trapezoid aluminium fins that are dimpled and punched to provide turbulence, and improve heat dissipation. Three 6 mm-thick copper heat pipes, which make direct contact with the CPU at the base, convey heat to the fin-stack. A 92 mm PWM-controlled fan, which spins at speeds ranging from 600 to 2,200 RPM, pushing up to 43.1 CFM of air, and with a noise output ranging from 17 dBA to 30 dBA, ventilates it. Measuring 108 mm x 89.5 mm x 138.5 mm (WxDxH), the cooler weighs about 580 g. It's compatible with most modern CPU socket types, including LGA115x, FM2, and AM3+. Expect the Hyper 103 to be priced around $30.

Cooler Master rolled out its QuickFire TK compact gaming keyboard in a limited edition with Cherry MX Green switches, and Razer-like green key back-lighting. Cherry MX Green switches are preferred for their moderate stiffness, good tactile feedback, and clicky actuation, compared to the smooth push of the Cherry MX Red. The keyboard is otherwise identical to the original, with 377.5 x 138 x 33 mm (LxWxH); 92 keys, including the main cluster, and a number pad; 7 macro multimedia keys, and full NKRO over USB. It's priced at US $122.

CM Storm QuickFire TK Stealth Gaming Keyboard Launches in Europe

Cooler Master, an industry leading case, thermal solution, gaming gear, and mobile accessory manufacturer, has announced the release of the QuickFire TK Stealth gaming keyboard.

The QuickFire TK Stealth is a mechanical gaming keyboard with the printed letters on the side of the keys instead of on top. When you look directly down on the keyboard, it appears all the keys are black. Yet, the print is easily viewable from the front. Besides form, this also has function. Front printed keys last longer than normal keycaps because there is no finger friction to wear away the print.

Cooler Master Seidon 120V CPU Cooler Detailed

Cooler Master's latest addition to its Seidon line of all-in-one liquid CPU coolers, the Seidon 120V, is set for launch by mid-October. Positioned above the Seidon 120XL, the cooler features a meatier CPU block, and a 27 mm-thick 119 x 154 mm radiator. The cooler is characterized by its cuboid block+pump assembly, which supports a retention module that isn't too different in design to Corsair's Hydro H80i, except that there's no magnetic lock. Four notches at the edges of the block slide into holes on the retention module, holding it in place.

The copper base is rectangular in shape, and features a micro-fin structure where heat from the CPU is dissipated to the flowing coolant. The block+pump assembly measures about 62 mm x 62 mm x 36.4 mm (WxDxH). A 120 mm PWM-controlled fan is included, which spins between 600 and 2,400 RPM, pushing up to 86.15 CFM of air, with up to 40 dBA of noise output (as low as 19 dBA). Cooler master is speaking of improvements to the design of the pump impeller, with ceramic bearings, and a flow chamber that doesn't cave in too easily. Backed by a 2-year warranty, the Seidon 120V from Cooler Master is expected to be priced at US $49.99.

Cooler Master Unveils Four New NotePal Notebook Coolers

Cooler Master launches four new members to the NotePal family. NotePals are notebook solutions that are designed for cooling and/or ergonomics. People often use cushions to avoid the heat of their notebook on their legs. However, cushions clutter the fans of notebooks causing them to overheat and shorten the life expectancy of the notebook. This is where the Comforter Air comes in. It is a cushion that's comfortable for your legs with a fan unit in the middle. The 100mm fan is connected to the notebook with the embedded USB-cable with cable management. The Comforter Air is compatible with notebooks up to 15.6".

The Comforter mini is a passive cooling pad for notebooks and tablets. Specifically for people who like to use their notebook or tablet on a non-stable surface, like a bed, couch, cushion, etc. The solid surface allows notebooks to get decent fresh air to the intake, which is important to cool the notebook. On the top of the Comforter mini a groove allows for cable management.
