Cooler Master Intros Hyper 412 Slim CPU Cooler and Three New Thermal Compounds

Cooler Master, an industry leading chassis, thermal solution, peripheral, and accessory manufacturer updates its Hyper 412S cooler with two slim fans. This significantly increases performance and allows usage of memory on both sides, while keeping the advantages of the previous model. The Hyper 412 Slim is best suited for LGA 2011 systems due to its compact size.

The Hyper 412 Slim is another of Cooler Master’s CPU coolers using the Continuous Direct Contact technology. This technology allows the heatpipes to directly touch all of the CPU’s hottest zones in order to reach the cooling performance in the places it matters most.

Cooler Master Launches Geminii M4 CPU Cooler

Cooler Master, an industry leading chassis, thermal solution, peripheral, and accessory manufacturer, announces a CPU cooler with huge performance packed into a seemingly miniature package. That new compact CPU cooler is the GeminII M4 – a GeminII series cooler.

Redefining cooling performance for space restricted environments, GeminII M4 is engineered to maximize cooling with its minimal CPU contact gaps and four extremely efficient direct contact heat pipes that provide excellent heat dissipation. Standing at a mere 59mm / 2.3in tall, it is uniquely suited to thrive in the small spaces afforded to CPU coolers in HTPCs and other slim systems. This small size is accomplished by developing a new smaller 120mm fan that is only 15mm thick as opposed to ones that are traditionally 25mm. This newly developed fan not only provides the benefit of a 10mm shorter height, it maintains high airflow - providing up to 58.4CFM when set on high speed.

Cooler Master Launches the CM Storm Sentinel Advanced II Gaming Mouse

Cooler Master, an industry leading chassis, thermal solution, peripheral, and accessory manufacturer today announces the release of the most advanced mouse on the market. Sporting the latest Avago Laser Sensor and many other improvements, Sentinel Advance II storms back onto the gaming scene with near everything under the hood being tuned for ultimate performance.

Featuring the most advanced laser sensor, the Avago 9800, Sentinel Advance II is capable of 8200 DPI. This opens the door for much higher sensitivity and accuracy levels than was possible before and even extends its benefits to lower DPI settings. This is coupled with an ultra low lift off distance (LOD) to provide gamers with the ability to perform actions in a split-second. This ultra low LOD allows gamers to quickly reposition their mouse without the fear of sending the mouse cursor flying off to undesired areas of the screen. Sensor improvements also improve the accuracy of tracking on multiple surface types and textures to provide maximum compatibility.

Cooler Master Unveils the HAF XM Chassis

Cooler Master finally launched the High Air Flow (HAF) XM chassis (model: RC922XM-KKN1). The XM is an ATX mid-tower variant of the HAF X, which is a full-tower. The HAF XM supports standard ATX and E-ATX motherboards, with 8+1 expansion slots, allowing users to take advantage of the bottommost expansion slot on their motherboards to install big multi-slot graphics cards. As with every other HAF series chassis, the design emphasis is on high air-flow, to maintain a positive air pressure inside the case, resulting in better cooling.

Measuring 252 x 530 x 579 mm, the HAF XM features three 5.25" drive bays, and eight 3.5" drive bays (that include two hot-swap bays with removable SATA backplate). Its perforated front grille houses one red LED-lit 200 mm fan (which can be replaced by a 140 mm fan, or two 120 mm fans); one 140 mm rear fan; two 200 mm top fans, and two 140 mm side-panel fans. Its front-panel includes two USB 3.0 ports (standard header), two USB 2.0 ports, and HDA front-panel jacks. The case is made mostly of SECC-steel and ABS plastic. It weighs about 10.5 kg. The Cooler Master HAF XM is expected to be priced around US $129. Find our review here.
