CRYORIG has recently released preliminary details for their LGA 1700 socket cooler support program. The company is preparing five adapters for existing coolers that are not currently compatible with the new socket and hope to have these available for January 2022. CRYORIG will provide these adapter kits to eligible customers who have purchased a cooler from the company after January 1st 2021 and can provide proof of purchase of an Intel 12th generation Alder Lake processor. CRYORIG will also be selling the adapters for customers who purchased their cooler before December 31st 2020 with more information on the process to be released once the adapters have been finalized. Enthusiast thermal solutions brand CRYORIG today release three new products, flagship cooler CRYORIG R5, ARGB fan Crona and Spares Kit. CRYORIG is always committed to innovating in order to provide the better cooling performance and great customer experience to users. The launch of R5 provide the World First Qlick-Mount mounting system with One Hand Installation to all users. The strong 3 dimensional lighting structure of Crona 120 also breaks away from the conventional square fan design to elevate the lighting elements and its performance.

The R5 is the second cooler in CRYORIG's R series of flagship coolers. The R5 is the missing piece to CRYORIG's PC cooling lineup. It is a high-end dual-fan single tower that is designed to stay within the mainboard's CPU Keep-Out-Zone. This means that the CRYORIG R5 has Zero RAM Interference, even on Intel's X99/X299 based platforms.

CRYORIG has recently teased what they claim to be the 'New Generation of Cooler'. The announcement was accompanied by an image of the upcoming cooler which appears to be a different design for the company with a dual-fan single tower setup. The 5 in "5OON" indicates this will likely be a successor for the CRYORIG H5 series of CPU coolers which are designed for enthusiast applications up to 160 W. This new design will likely bring increased performance and better position CRYORIG to compete with Noctua and be quiet!, CRYORIG did not confirm when this new cooler will be released or what price it will retail for.

In response to the new Intel LGA 1200 socket, CRYORIG announces that LGA 1200 socket would be compatible with all existing LGA115x supported models. The supported models include: A series liquid coolers, R1 Ultimate/Universal, C1, H5 Ultimate/Universal, H7 Series, M9I, M9 Plus, and C7 Series. As the mounting mechanism of LGA1200 is identical to LGA115x socket, users with LGA115x supported models would not require any extra upgrade kits.

Cryorig launched its first new product in months after going MIA in the US market with imminent plans to return, the new C7 G CPU Cooler. The company had unveiled this cooler just ahead of this year's Computex. A variant of the C7 Cu all-copper, top-flow, low-profile air cooler, the C7 G features graphene coating on the copper fins and heat-pipes. This coating increases surface-area for heat dissipation at a microscopic level, and is similar in concept to the ceramic coating that CPU cooler manufacturers dabbled with in the past. The cooler can now handle thermal loads of up to 125 W, whereas the original C7 Cu was rated for up to 115 W.

With its fan in place, the C7 G has a height of 47 mm. It uses 57 copper fins stacked perpendicular to the plane of the motherboard, to which heat drawn from the base is conveyed by four 6 mm-thick copper heat-pipes that make direct contact with the CPU. The 92 mm fan takes in 4-pin PWM input, spins between 600 to 2,500 RPM, pushing up to 40.5 CFM of air with a noise output of up to 30 dBA. The cooler only supports mainstream-desktop CPU socket types, including AM4 and LGA115x. The company didn't reveal pricing.

There have been spectacular rumors flying around on Reddit that PC cooling components major Cryorig has shut down, with telltale signs being their telephone-support number going dead, their Newegg store being out-of-stock for months, and their Twitter account falling silent. We've reviewed close to a dozen Cryorig products, and our last review was dated October 2018. We reached out to Cryorig and one of their representatives was kind enough to respond to us with an update on what has happened at the company. Cryorig is impacted by the U.S.-China trade-war, as the high import tariffs affected the viability of its products. The company would earlier directly access the U.S. market through exclusive stores on Amazon and Newegg.

The company continues to have active market-presence elsewhere, including Asia and Europe. Cryorig clarified in unequivocal terms that it has not, and will not, exit the U.S. market. The company stated that it is merely waiting for respite from the crippling import tariff. In the meantime, it has sought out a new U.S.-based distributor who will import Cryorig products, and resell them. This distributor will also take over other aspects of the U.S. business, including aftersales support, RMA, etc.

As of yet unannounced, it seems that Cryorig may be preparing to launch a graphene-coated version of their popular low-profile C7Cu cooler. Cryorig's own website has a product page up for the part, which makes use of graphene's qualities in both durability, lightness and thermal conductivity to increase performance in the part of the market it arguably matters the most - small form factor. This could signal an improvement in heat dissipation capabilities for this small cooler. The C7 Cu version, in full copper, has a 115W TDP specification, so perhaps the C7G will improve in that front.

The C7G FAQ isn't uploaded as of yet, which speaks to the unannounced nature of the product. The only thing we have to go by, for now, is the image for the product on Cryorig's product page, and the users' manual, which while not giving away much in terms of specifications, but does show that there are a pair of mounting clips included for users to mount their 90 mm fans - whether in 14 mm or 25 mm depth.

Coinciding with the release of 2nd Gen AMD Ryzen Threadripper CPUs, CRYORIG is releasing its sTR4 Upgrade Kit for its high-end air coolers. The sTR4 Upgrade Kit is compatible with the CRYORIG R1 series, C1 series, H5 series and H7 Quad Lumi. With the new sTR4 Upgrade Kit users are able to use their favorite CRYORIG air cooling solutions with both 1st Gen and 2nd Gen AMD Ryzen Threadripper CPUs. *Coolers with less than 4 heatpipes are not suggested, as well as the ultra-compact C7 series coolers.

Enthusiast thermal solutions brand CRYORIG releases the new H7 Plus and M9 Plus dual fan heatsinks. Based on the best-selling H7 and M9i/a, CRYORIG is now offering these two models with a direct dual fan upgrade for best in class performance. Adding an additional fan makes the overall heatsink airflow even better optimized to expel heat directly into the rear system fan and out of the PC case. Some interesting deals and prices, for instance, can be found on a Gigabyte GTX 1080, which can be had for just$ 449.99 after all discounts have been applied (never thought I'd see such a price ever again in this generation); Gigabyte's X470 AORUS Ultra Gaming can be had for just $109.99, down from the $139.99 asking price; the CORSAIR TX-M Series TX550M power supply can be had for just $34.99, down from its usual $79.99 pricing; and Cryorig's H7 tower cooler is down by 44% to just $27.99.

Not content with presenting their Frostbit M.2 cooling solution (even if it's as exotic as it is), Cryorig took the opportunity at COMPUTEX to present would-be consumers with part of their product portfolio. The H7 Quad Lumi CPU cooler is the company's flagship offering, featuring a total of four 6 mm high-end copper heatpipes, NZXT CAM Powered Lumi Lighting System as well as a new QF120 1.600 RPM LED fan. The H7 Quad Lumi also incorporates an RGB controller into its design, making it not just a cooling solution, but the centerpiece for a given rig's RGB chops.

The company's C7 Cu full-copper cooler also made a showing, with its expensive, all-copper solution. The thrice-more-expensive-than-aluminum copper offers only double the thermal conductivity of the former, which is why it gives diminishing returns in cooling performance. However, in the SFF builds this low-profile cooler will more likely be used, all performance gains matter so as to allow for a small, silent solution that nonetheless dissipates copious amounts of heat.

Cryorig at COMPUTEX 2018 showed the most complex and impressive M.2 SSD cooling solution the market has ever seen with their Frosbit cooler. The Frostbit cooler, which the company had already teased going into the show, is the world's first M.2 cooling solution to feature heatpipe cooling technology - the heatpipe transfers heat from the M.2 SSD through its heatpipe loop and dissipates it in a large volume heatsink. This should alleviate any thermal throttling issues which some NVMe, M.2 SSDs are plagued with with inefficient airflow setups. The secondary, heat-dissipating heatsink can be adjusted so as to avoid contact with other components. This design really brings memories of OCZ's Reaper memory kits, as well as some other after-market modding solutions for RAM memory sticks which featured similar heatpipe designs.

A week before Computex CRYORIG reveals the Crona 120 RGB fan and H7 Ultra RGB Cooler tower cooler. The Crona 120 is CRYORIG's first RGB fan with an unconventional single sided fan frame design in exchange for an unobstructed fully circular lighting area. The H7 Ultra RGB is built on the best selling H7 with an upgraded 4 heatpipe system while also including a RGB top cover and Crona 120 RGB fan. Both the Crona 120 and H7 Ultra RGB will be on full display come Computex 2018 at Nangang Exhibition Hall.

Ahead of Computex 2018 CRYORIG announces new M.2 cooler Frostbit and RGB enhanced C7 RGB CPU Cooler. CRYORIG's Frostbit is not only the industry first aftermarket M.2 NVMe SSD cooler with dual heatpipes, it allows full adjustment of the Secondary Heatpipe and large volume Heatsink. The C7 RGB is based on CRYORIG's award winning ITX cooler C7, with a 12v RGB lighting enhanced 92 mm fan. Both products will be shown at CRYORIG's Computex booth at Nangang Exhibition Hall I0527.

After nearly a year from first announcing the Cu line of full copper coolers PC cooling innovator CRYORIG is now releasing the C7 Cu copper enhanced SFF ITX cooler. The C7 Cu is built from the award winning C7 architecture with one obvious upgrade, the extravagant use of copper for the whole heatsink body. By exchanging for a full copper build from aluminum has allowed the C7 Cu see improvements of up to 15% in thermal performance. The increased thermal performance without increased size is a key advantage of the C7 Cu especially in ultra compact SFF/ITX builds where space is limited.

Aimed at solving the space limits of Small Form Factor ITX systems, the C7 Cu was set with the task of further improving performance but without increasing size or fan speed. Utilizing higher thermal conductive materials was the only answer for the C7 Cu. Copper is nearly twice as thermal conductive as aluminum but nearly three times as expensive. That's why copper is normally only used on the most thermal critical components such as heatpipes and heatsink base plates. With the C7 Cu, CRYORIG has swapped out the aluminum elements of the C7 with pure copper. Thermal performance gains are close to 15% when compared to the original C7.

First released together with the acclaimed H7 heatsink, the QF120 system fans series is now getting a LED upgrade. This new line of white LED based system fans is based on CRYORIG's innovative QF120 Series. Like the original QF120 it comes in three different models each with different RPM ranges, ranging from 200-1000 RPM in the QF120 LED Silent, 330-1600 RPM with the QF120 LED Balance, and 600-2200 RPM on the QF120 LED Performance.

Innovative features from the existing QF120 line are also onboard such as the moniker Quad Air Inlet system and integrated vibration absorbers. CRYORIG's proprietary Quad Air Inlet system uses four strategically placed air intakes line up the corners of the QF120 LED fan frame, allowing the static pressure optimized fan blades take in extra air from the sides of the fan frame increasing overall air output.

After first announcing the Taku in Computex 2016, PC Cooling and peripherals innovator CRYORIG is releasing the Taku PC monitor stand ITX case. The Taku has been in development for over 2 Years in house, with over 1 year of co-development with manufacturing partner Lian Li. The Taku is finally releasing after a brief appearance on Kickstart during the Summer. Although unsuccessful as a Kickstarter project the Taku gained enough popularity and initial backers for CRYORIG to continue developing the Taku and push for a product launch. The Taku will first be released in the USA, Japan and Taiwan beginning in December. All original Kickstarter backers will be given the option to pre-order and are guaranteed to receive a unit before the end of December including a free CRYORIG C7.

The Taku is a hybrid between a PC Monitor Stand and a high-end ITX form factor PC case. The benefit of this design is that the monitor, keyboard and the full PC system is arranged vertically on top of each other. Meaning the total footprint is lowered, and valuable desk space is made available. The Taku is compatible with GPU's up to 280 mm, ITX form factor mainboards, SFX or SFX-L power supplies, fully capable of housing a high-end Gaming PC. Taku's storage space is also well taken care of. The Taku can also fit 1x 3.5" HDD, two 2.5" SSD/HDD.

AMD has published a list of coolers that are officially compatible with their upcoming Threadripper CPUs. It's no surprise there needs to be a compatibility list - the new CPUs top out at 16-core, 32-thread monsters which have never before graced the HEDT space, with an accompanying large CPU die size and heatsink. The socket being an entirely new affair, a new retention kit must also be made available by cooler manufacturers.

AMD itself will be offering an Asetek retention kit for AIO cooling solutions on their Threadripper retail packaging, which should make most Asetek-built AIOs to be compatible with the TR4 socket. These coolers are automatically added to the list. However, there may be some other coolers that are compatible with the newest socket that are not listed on AMD's site as of yet. For those cases, AMD reminds us all that we should check with our cooling solution manufacturer whether an adapter is available or not, and whether our current cooling solution is sufficient for the task at hand. CRYORIG sweetened the deal for backing its upcoming compact chassis, the Taku, on Kickstarter, by including what it calls the "best ITX-ready CPU air-cooler." The company is including a C7 Cu low-profile CPU cooler for free with each Taku Kickstarter Edition case bound for its backers (by backing the project with at least $299). The C7 Cu is valued at $50.

The C7 Cu is a variant of the C7 low-profile top-flow CPU cooler, which features copper fins instead of aluminium. The cooler can cope with slightly higher thermal loads than its aluminium sibling. The company first showed off the cooler at the 2017 Computex. In addition to this deal, CRYORIG lowered the cost of backing two Taku cases down to $260 per unit (at least $520), which includes two C7 Cu coolers.

In response to the soon to be launched new Intel LGA 2066 socket, PC thermal solution brand CRYORIG announces that all existing LGA2011v3 supported models will support the new LGA 2066 socket.

The supported models include: all A series liquid coolers, the R1 Ultimate/Universal, R5, C1, H5 Ultimate/Universal and the H7 Quad Lumi. Models that support only AMD or AM4 will not support the Intel LGA 2066 socket. The mounting mechanism of LGA2011v3 and LGA2066 are identical, thus no additional kits will be required to support the new socket.

Remember the Taku Monitor Stand PC Case, that Cryorig showcased mid-2016? Well, it's now made its way to Kickstarter, a likely way for Cryorig to gauge interest in such a product whilst letting consumers foot part of the manufacturing bill. The Taku, first announced and exhibited last summer, will also be shown during Computex 2017. PC cooling and peripherals innovator CRYORIG announces their collaboration project with NZXT, the software controlled RGB LED H7 Quad Lumi will be releasing this June. The H7 Quad Lumi is based on CRYORIG's award winning H7, the H7 Quad Lumi features a total of four 6 mm high-end copper heatpipes, NZXT CAM Powered Lumi Lighting System as well as a new QF120 1.600 RPM LED fan. Co-developed with NZXT, CRYORIG has managed to add a built-in RGB LED controller directly into the H7 Quad Lumi. Running on NZXT's CAM, the H7 Quad Lumi can independently control the logo and base lighting of the heatsink through CAM software and smartphone app.

With the much-anticipated release of the AMD Ryzen CRYORIG prepares to launch a full line of AMD Ryzen dedicated coolers as well as simple upgrade kits for existing AMD compatible CRYORIG cooling products. Beginning from Type A to Type D, there will be a total of 4 different AM4 upgrade kits depending on the corresponding CRYORIG product.
