NZXT to Release the FN V2 Series Case Fans

NZXT is pleased to announce the release of the FN V2 series case fans. Today's high-performance PCs require high-performance cooling, but as fan airflow increases, noise is a growing concern. Stylish, Strong, and Quiet
In real-world tests, the FN V2 fans achieve a remarkable noise rating of only 21 dBA, while still outputting an impressive 45 to 50 cubic feet per minute of cool air to protect valuable PC components. You can rely on the FN V2 fans to protect your PC quietly and unobtrusively well into the future. But you won't want to hide these fans away with their classic white blades and sleek design.

MSI Planning Gaming Series Cases and Coolers

"Gaming Series" proved to be a successful way for MSI to package its graphics cards and motherboards. The signature deep-red and black color scheme, coupled with the "dragon" logo deck up MSI products in a premium way that only ROG managed for ASUS; and the company is looking to milk it further. According to an Expreview report, MSI is planning to launch Gaming Series-branded cases and cooling solutions. MSI isn't new to cases, but its cases haven't exactly made a mark for themselves, or seen wide availability. The company will, hence, tie up with proven case (and cooling) manufacturers such as NZXT, and share its branding with them.

Enthusiasts in China spotted MSI Gaming Series variants of popular NZXT cases, such as the Phantom 410 (pictured below), and also certain cases from Jonsbo, a local Lian Li-like case maker that specializes in all-aluminium monoliths. Sources also told Expreview that MSI could share the Gaming Series brand with the likes of Thermalright/Cogage, which could launch a variant of its True Spirit TS120 tower-type CPU air cooler.

NZXT Announces the Respire Series Coolers

Affordable, high performance air cooling is now available with NZXT's latest addition to its growing CPU cooler product line. NZXT introduces the Respire Series: aluminum-fin heatsinks utilizing seamless direct touch (SDT) technology for maximum cooling efficiency.

Last year, NZXT entered the CPU cooler market with its powerful Havik 120 and Havik 140 CPU coolers. In October, NZXT released the Kraken, the world's first all-in-one 140 mm and 280 mm liquid coolers. For its latest cooler, NZXT poured all of its resources into one simple goal: maximizing cooling efficiency.

NZXT Adopts 15 mm Fan Spacing Standard

Following the introduction of the 280 mm Kraken X60, NZXT is officially adopting the 15 mm fan spacing specification for 140 mm radiators. Prior to this, all NZXT cases with 140 mm radiator support had fans placed 20 mm apart. This was due to a split standard in the industry, leaving some radiator and case manufacturers supporting fans with 20 mm spacing while others supported 15 mm spacing.

Since the 15 mm specification has grown to become the widely accepted standard among many companies due to the facilitation of a shorter radiator with better cooling efficiency, NZXT will now adopt the 15 mm spacing specification on all future projects.
