Porsche Design is again collaborating with AGON by AOC, one of the world's leading gaming monitor and IT accessories brands, to present the Porsche Design | AOC AGON PRO PD49 curved gaming monitor - a combination of award-winning design and technological prowess and a statement of style and performance. With an e-sports ready refresh rate of 240 Hz and a performant response time of 0.03 ms Grey-to-Grey (GtG), ghosting becomes a relic of the past. Thanks to the inclusion of Adaptive-Sync for variable refresh rate support, every game sequence flows with tear-free, immersive continuity.

Featuring a 165 Hz refresh rate overdriven to 170 Hz, 1 ms Grey-to-Grey (GtG) response time, as well as the DisplayHDR 400 certification and a wide color gamut, the PD27S is simply the gaming monitor equivalent to a sports car. The PD27S combines a striking, clean and functional design with high-level technologies, giving satisfaction to the user on any occasion ranging from day-to-day tasks, to business-related use, entertainment and high-performance gaming.

AOC has launched a new gaming monitor under its Agon Pro brand and the PD32M has been designed in cooperation with Porsche Design, which for clarity's sake, isn't the same company as the car manufacturer. The PD32M is based on a "frameless" 32-inch 4K 144 Hz capable mini-LED display and carries a Display HDR 1400 certification, with a peak brightness of 1600 nits. It is also said to deliver 97 percent of the DCI-P3 colour space, which would make it a decent display for work as well as play. The display also supports Adaptive Sync, but it's unclear if it's FreeSync or G-Sync compatible.

On the connectivity side there are a pair of HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort, presumably of the 1.4 variety, one USB-C, although no mention of display input via USB-C is mentioned, as well as a USB-C four USB-A 3.2 (most likely 10 Gbps) ports and a headphone jack. Based on the picture of the rear of the PD32M, there also appears to be a couple of additional 3.5 mm jacks and another port of unknown type around the back. It's also clear from this picture that an external power brick is being used, although AOC hasn't provided any details about it.

AOC has partnered with Studio F.A. Porsche to bring a duo of monitors to market, bridging the gap between AOC's expertise and Porsche's design capabilities. The change in size brings a change in resolution as well, with the U32U1 featuring a 4K resolution, while its 27" sibling does with a QHD resolution (2560 x 1440). Both monitors carry an IPS panel with 90% DCI-P3 coverage, but the U32U1 offers HDR 600 certification and HDR 10 support on its 10-bit panel. The Q27T1 shaves all of that in favor of an anti-glare coating.
