EVGA's PSU features a fully modular design, an efficiency of up to 90% at typical loads, a single, high-amperage 12 V rail, a 140 mm Double Ball Bearing fan, and Over Power/Under Power/Over Voltage/Short Circuit protection.

The SuperNOVA 1600 G2 has a 10-year warranty and a price tag of $349.99. It's not available for purchase yet but should be later this month.

Japanese peripherals maker Scythe announced a 300W variant of its CorePower line of PSUs in the SFX form-factor. Measuring 125 mm x 63 mm x 100 mm, these units offer continuous 300W delivery, and connectors that include 24-pin ATX, two each of SATA and Molex, and one Berg. There's no mention of PCIe connectors. All modern electrical and thermal protections are on offer. The unit is cooled by an 80 mm fan that can spin at speeds of up to 2,200 RPM. Scythe didn't announce pricing.

Corsair AX1500i Digital Power Supply Now Available

Corsair, the most awarded PC power supply brand in the world, today announced the availability of the much-anticipated AX1500i Digital ATX power supply from www.corsair.com. DeepCool Rolls Out Quanta DQ-750W Power Supply

DeepCool launched the Quanta DQ-750W performance-segment modular power supply for gaming PC builds. The unit is partially modular, in that its 24-pin ATX and 8-pin EPS connectors are fixed; while all other connectors are detachable. Among the other connectors are four 6+2 pin PCIe, eight SATA, three Molex, and one Berg. All cables, including the ATX and EPS ones, are flat, ribbon-type ones, with no color coding. Under the hood, the Quanta DQ-750W features a single +12V rail rated at 62A. Its innards appear to be built by CWT. All modern PSU features are on offer, including active PFC, 80 Plus Gold efficiency rating, and protection mechanisms. The unit is cooled by a 130 mm temperature-controlled fan. The company didn't reveal pricing or availability details.

The PSU measures 125 (W) x 63.5 (H) x 100 (D) mm and features a non-modular design, an efficiency of up to 85% (it's 80 PLUS Bronze certified), Active PFC, a single 12V rail, a single 80 mm fan and a MTBF of 100,000 hours.

The ST30SF is available in the US for $54.99 and is listed on pre-order in Europe for €47.89.

SilverStone Readies Two More Strider Gold S Series Power Supplies

SilverStone is currently preparing the release of two new power supplies part of the Strider Gold S Series, the 750 W SST-ST75F-GS and 850 W SST-ST85F-GS. Both models measure 150 (W) x 86 (H) x 150 (D) mm and feature a fully modular design, active PFC, a MTBF of 100,000 hours, an 80 PLUS Gold certification (up to 90% efficiency), a single 12V rail, and a low-noise 120 mm fan. Moreover, they have over current, over power, over voltage, over temperature, under voltage and short circuit protection. At 750 W and 850 W, these are the smallest "full modular" power supplies on the market right now for their respective power levels. Most power supplies with the same specs are at least 180 mm deep (ST75F-GS and ST85F-GS are only 150 mm).

The SST-ST75F-GS and SST-ST85F-GS are expected to become available later this month.

REVOLUTION X't - Enermax's Brand New Power Supply Series

Enermax launches the brand new REVOLUTION X't power supply series. The series comes in four different wattage output levels for users to choose from, ranging from 430W, 530W, 630W to 730W; modular flat and flexible cables are used across this whole new series. The unit is cooled by an 80 mm fan, but one that's tuned to prioritize low-noise. The ST30SF is expected to be priced at $49.99, when it goes on sale later this week in North America; and 43.30€, when it goes on sale in Europe from October.
