Reeven Announces Steropes RC-1206 Low Profile CPU Cooler

Reeven announced the Steropes RC-1206 low-profile CPU cooler. Measuring 125 mm x 129 mm x 60 mm (WxDxH), it weighs about 470 g. Its design includes a chunky copper+aluminium base that doubles up as a heatsink, from which five nickel-plated copper heat pipes pass through. The heat pipes draw heat away from the base, and to an aluminium fin stack that's arranged along the plane of the motherboard, which is then ventilated by a 12 mm-thick 120 mm fan that spins between 500 and 2,000 RPM, pushing between 12.13 and 45.47 CFM of air, with noise output proportionately ranging between 9.32 and 33.67 dBA. The fan supports draws power from a 4-pin PWM fan header. The cooler supports most modern CPU socket types, including Intel LGA115x, AMD AM3+, and FM2+. The company didn't reveal pricing or availability information.

Reeven Intros RC-1401 CPU Cooler

Reeven launched the RC-1401 large tower-type CPU cooler. Its design involves a conventional aluminum fin stack, to which heat is conducted by a combination of two 8 mm-thick, and three 6 mm-thick copper heat pipes. The 8 mm-thich ones spread out to the stack's periphery, while the 6 mm-thick ones to the central regions. The topmost fin is shrouded. These heat pipes draw heat from a nickel-plated copper base indirectly, which features a mirror finish.

A 140 mm fan ventilates the heatsink. One is included, although it supports a second one, for push-pull configurations. The included fan is a 25 mm-thick 140 mm spinner, which supports PWM control, and spins in the range of 300 to 1,300 RPM, pushing 27.2 to 70 CFM of air, with a noise output rated at 9.6 to 24.7 dBA. The RC-1401 measures 161 x 70 x 143 mm (HxWxD), weighing in at 820 g, excluding the fan. All modern CPU socket types are supported, including LGA115x, LGA2011, LGA775, AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2, and FM2/FM1. The company should begin shipping the cooler later this month.

Reeven Arcziel 12 CPU Cooler Pictured

Reeven unveiled the Arcziel 12 CPU cooler. Classified in the large category, the Arcziel 12 is a top-flow air-cooler that uses an aluminum fin stack arranged along the plane of the motherboard, to which heat is conveyed by six 6 mm-thick copper heat pipes that make indirect contact with the CPU over a nickel-plated copper base that's polished to a mirror-finish. The six heat pipes pass through the aluminum fin stack at two points, to even heat distribution. The heatsink is then ventilated by a 120 mm PWM fan that spins at 500 to 1900 RPM, with noise-output of up to 35 dBA. Measuring 140.5 x 131 x 126 mm, the cooler weighs about 557 g. It supports all modern CPU socket types, including LGA2011, LGA115x, AM3+, and FM2. It is slated for November 21.

Reeven RECC-01 Extreme Cooling Cup Launched

First unveiled this January, Reeven's extreme-cooling pot (model: RECC-01) launched in various markets. In Japan, it is being marketed by Scythe. Measuring 70 x 70 x 160 mm (WxDxH), and weighing 900 g, the RECC-01 is a liquid nitrogen or dry-ice evaporator. Aluminum makes up most of its body, while nickel-plated copper makes up its base. Its base dissipation surface has 18 circular pits. An AEROFLEX polymer insulation sleeve is included. Also included are a retention module supporting Intel sockets LGA2011, LGA1155/LGA1156, LGA1366 and LGA775; and AMD sockets FM1/AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2; and a thermal probe port. It is priced at 19,980 JPY (US $242).

Reeven Unveils RFC-01 Six-Channel Fan-Controllers in Japan

Reeven unveiled the RFC-01 "Six Eyes" series of case fan controllers, which saw the light of the day in mid-2011. Designed to fit into the 5.25-inch drive bays of your case, the RFC-01 provides six fan channels with independent speed-control knobs and diagnostic displays for each channel. Measuring 148 x 42 x 100 mm, the controller comes in two variants: black (RFC-01BK) and white (RFC-01WH). Apart from the six fan speed channels, the controller displays temperatures from six thermal zones, along with a safety alarm when temperatures exceed a limit. The RFC-01 will be priced at 4,480 JPY (US $57). It will likely be marketed under local brands such as Scythe.
