Cooler Master Launches CM Storm Alcor and Mizar Gaming Mice

Cooler Master, an industry leading chassis, thermal solution, peripheral, and accessory manufacturer unveils two new gaming mice that are throwbacks to a simpler time in gaming, but outfitted to withstand modern gaming needs. These new gaming mice are Alcor and Mizar.

Each with a design inspired by the essence of the earlier years of gaming, Alcor and Mizar meld a proven comfortable and classic design with technological improvements that match today's gaming scene. Alcor is fitted with the Avago 3090 optical sensor while Mizar utilizes the Avago 9800 laser sensor. Both sensors are tuned for gaming with high speed actions and very precise tracking. Intel Unveils RealSense Technology at CES 2014

In an effort to make interaction with technology simpler, more natural and immersive, Intel Corporation today outlined how it, in collaboration with other companies, is bringing human-like senses to Intel-based devices in a new family of hardware and software products called Intel RealSense technology.

The Intel RealSense 3D camera is one of the first products in the new family and is the world's first integrated 3D depth and 2D camera module that helps devices "see" depth much like the human eye.

Koolance Launches the EXC-800 Portable 800W Recirculating Liquid Chiller

The new portable liquid chiller from Koolance, dubbed EXC-800, is rated at 800W or 2730 BTU/hr (@25°C liquid & ambient) and it makes use of Koolance's well known PMP-500 pump, with a maximum coolant output from the unit of 11L/min (2.9 gal/min) and 7.5m (24.6ft) of static head. The chiller control is based on one of four configurable temperature methods, including the option to lock liquid to ambient for avoiding condensation, or to an external K-type thermocouple sensor (not included). Along with the local temperatures and user set-point, EXC-800 can report internal coolant flow rate, pump RPM, and condenser fan RPM on a customizable 2-line OLED display. An adjustable relay trigger output on the rear of the unit is available based on temperature. The EXC-800 can be ordered from Koolance's web shop where it is listed at $1400.

Mad Catz Ships R.A.T.M Wireless Gaming Mouse

NEC Announces MultiSync P242W 24-inch AH-IPS Monitor

NEC Display Solutions of America, a leading provider of commercial LCD display and projector solutions, announced today the additions of the 24-inch MultiSync P242W-BK and P242W-BK-SV, entry-level professional desktop widescreen monitors with LED backlights. The economical MultiSync P242W display joins the MultiSync P Series family, which features standard-gamut monitors designed for web, high-end desktop and photography applications to ensure accurate, consistent and repeatable color performance.

OmniVision Launches High Performance 8-Megapixel CameraChip Sensor

Elecom Intros M-BL Series Mice

Elecom Japan launched two new lines of colorful mice, the M-BL6DB wireless and M-BL12UB wired. Both lines feature glossy color options, which for the M-BL6DB include black (M-BL6DBBK), azure blue (M-BL6DBBU), olive green (M-BL6DBGN), orange (M-BL6DBR), pink (M-BL6DBPN), and white (M-BL6DBWH); and for the M-BL12UB include silver (M-BL12UBSV), black (M-BL12UBBK), azure blue (M-BL12UBBU), green (M-BL12UBGN), red (M-BL12UBRD), and pink (M-BL12UBPN).

Measuring 62.3 x 115 x 36.3 mm (WxDxH), and weighing 100 g, the M-BL12UB is an ambidextrous 3-button scroll mouse with wired USB connection and 1000 dpi resolution. At 77 x 125 x 43 mm, weighing 60 g (without battery), the M-BL6DB is right-oriented wireless mouse with 5-buttons, with the same 1000 dpi sensor as its wired cousin. It talks to the host over 2.4 GHz radio band, using a USB micro-receiver. Slated for early-June, the M-BL12UB is priced at 1,470 JPY (US $18.5), while the M-BL6DB goes for 2,940 JPY (US $37).

Leetgion El'Druin Gaming Mouse Detailed

Here are some of the first images of Leetgion's second gaming mouse, the El'Druin. While its first mouse, the Hellion, is optimized for StarCraft II, the El'Durin is designed for Diablo III. Still in its CGI form, the El'Durin is an ambidextrous-looking mouse that has twelve programmable hotkeys including a 5-directional thumb S-pad (for quick actions). Its main two buttons are backed by Japanese Omron switches.

Under the hood is an Avago 9500 laser sensor with a tracking resolution of 5,000 DPI. This sensor is backed by Leetgion's patented DPI micro-tuner that allows users to adjust the tracking resolution at extremely fine steps. The mouse includes four custom profile sets including a default profile. For ergonomics there are four removable palm plates. The El'Durin measures 126 x 80 x 44 mm (LxWxH).

IDT Introduces Low-power, High-accuracy Temperature Sensor for Solid State Drives

Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (IDT), the Analog and Digital Company delivering essential mixed-signal semiconductor solutions, today announced a new family of precision temperature sensors targeted at ultra-low-power solid state drive applications. Sanwa Supply Intros MA-NANOIR13 Infrared Wireless Mice

Sanwa Supply introduced the MA-NANOIR13 series wireless optical mice, which feature infrared optical sensors. The infrared sensors draw lesser power than visible light sensors, and hence conserve battery. The sensors offer tracking resolution as high as 3000 DPI, this resolution can be switched on-the-fly between 3000, 1500, and 1000 DPI. Oriented for the right-hand, the MA-NANOIR13 has two side buttons apart from its three main buttons and a 2-way scroll-wheel.

Measuring 55 x 107 x 36 mm (WxDxH), these mice weigh 70 g without batteries, they take in two AA-size ones. With a pair of mainstream alkaline batteries, up to 15 months' battery-life can be expected. The mouse talks to the host machine over 2.4 GHz radio band, a USB micro-receiver is included. The MA-NANOIR13 comes in three color options, black, silver, and red. They are priced at 3,675 JPY (US $44.6).

Conexant Introduces New High Definition DIFT JPEG/MJPEG Encoder

Sanwa Supply Starts Marketing Scene Fit Laser Mice

Japanese computer peripherals company Sanwa Supply started marketing the Scene Fit (MA-LSSF) Laser mice. These corded USB mice feature an ambidextrous design, measure 52 x 93 x 34 mm (WxDxH), weighing 72 g. These take advantage of laser sensor for more precise tracking, although the resolution isn't mentioned. The mice are available in four color options, MA-LSSFBK (piano-black), MA-LSSFGM (gunmetal), MA-LSSFS (silver), MA-LSSFW (white). The Scene Fit mouse is priced at 2,835 JPY (US $36).
