Introduction

I would like to thank A-DATA for kindly providing the review sample.

We met up with A-DATA at CES this year once more and while we were shown a lot of new products, the T907 or "Jack Skellington" from the popular animated movie ‘Tim Burton’s The Night before Christmas’ caught my eye. A-DATA has a long history of Disney based products and we have seen everything from memory cards to USB flash drives and this one is just their latest addition in the line-up.

Features:
  • Tim Burton’s Nightmare before Christmas-themed design
  • Comes with an extra USB cable for convenience when in use
  • Free download applications: UFDtoGO, OStoGO, and Norton Internet Security 2010™ (60-day trial)
  • Capacity: 4/8/16/32GB
  • Dimensions: 58.3*42.8*37mm (LxWxH)
  • Weight: 37g
  • Supports USB 2.0, backward compatible with USB 1.1

Packaging & Contents

A-DATA ships the little guy in a square cardboard box with a large window. That allows you to take a really close look at Jack Skellington. Turning the box around, we have a list of features. There is no mention of any performance, so I am curious to see how it stacks up.

I almost missed the USB extension cable, tugged away in the base of the cardboard box. I noticed it was missing from my set of pictures when I was starting to write the review and noticed a mention of such a cable in the feature list, so I dug deeper. It is a short, simple USB cord so that you won't block any neighbouring plugs when using the T907. There is also a tiny paper with warranty information within the base.
