ATI Tech Day Seville: Breaking the world record

AMD supplied three FX-60 CPUs from which the best overclocker was picked.


This blue board is ATI's own RD580 reference board called "Manta". The active fans on the coolers were added to facilitate overclocking.


Good overclock needs good power - a PC Power & Cooling 1 Kilowatt PSU should be plenty.


The knife in the picture is Macci's - he has it with him almost everywhere and it proved to be an extremely useful tool indeed.
