Packaging

Unlike the Cosmos, the package is kept in white and pink. This is the usual color for Cooler Master products. The front features the case and the large company logo, along with the case name - CM-690 (CM stands for Cooler Master). The back holds a number of pictures, detailing the most important features and also explains each image.


Unpacking the RC-690 does not yield any surprises. Cooler Master has chosen to use Styrofoam spacers and a heavy duty bag to secure the chassis inside the solid cardboard box.

Inside a small white box, you will find a manual, mainboard spacers, a cable binder and a front cover for 3.5 inch devices. This is certainly less than you would find inside any traditional case, but as we will see, the rest can be found at different locations within the RC-690.
