Fanatec Driver Updater

Installing the software is done in four steps. The first requires installation of the driver updater. It does not require any reboot and is installed quite quickly.


The second part consists of downloading the newest driver with the use of the just installed updater. The download is just under 3 MB big and the download server is quite fast.

Software Installation

The third step is the installation of the drivers for the Porsche 911 Turbo Wheel. It is quite similar to that of the installer and does not require a reboot. The software can be accessed through the Control Panel of Windows.

Software

The software is quite simple. It consists of three tabs. The first gives you the ability to control the function of the wheel, pedals and gear box. The pedals are pressure sensitive and the wheel's force feedback (FF) and vibration engine can be tested as well. The second tab holds sliders and options to configure the wheel to your needs. The last tab is just an informative one. You will find the version number and a link to the Fanatec website here.
