Nice review W1zzard.
Unfortunately as you say the memory is ahead of the O/S and software industry. Heck we can't even get a nice selection of 64-bit O/S's or apps so I can't imagine that many people can even use this 2 x 2 memory set-up and at $500 it offers very minimal performance gain. Sure if you've got 64-bit Linux and suitable 64-bit software then the 2 x 2 config. may be better than 4 x 1, but it seems to me that most of the DDR2 memory is just over-priced vs. performance. |

Nice Review, thx for the info. I have just recently purchased these for my new build system. I new the CAS Latency was high, but these where the only 2gb dual modules that I could find in PC2-6400. Seems G.Skill is the first out with the 800mhz 2gb dual modules. Im wondering though how I should clock these. My main use for my new machine is pure gameing. Here is the rest of my system spec if that will help you determine the best settings for these dimms. OS will be either Vista or XP 64-bit not sure witch though. Thx.
