| 8.5 | The G.Skill F3-12800CL9T-6GBNQ 6 GB kit runs and does so well. Considering the low entry price it certainly takes a bit of the "hurt" out of shelling out all that money on an i7 plattform. Considering that the memory runs you just under 100 €s in retail, makes it easy to live with the fact, that the memory won't manage to get anywhere close to 2000 MHz or 200 MHz base clock. The fact that it can run at a very respectable 1772 MHz is good enough, also giving you the option to use the three modules at CL8 instead of CL9 also helps to put a satisfied smile on our faces. The fact that there is a bit of overclocking headroom - even though most i7 platforms will be able to push further than the memory - in combination with a very sweet price, should make this an easy buy. You certainly get your money's worth with the G.Skill F3-12800CL9T-6GBNQ. |
