Value and Conclusion

  • Good sound quality
  • Better price performance ratio than the other Yuin earbuds
  • Relatively cheap compared to sound quality and size
  • Good build quality
  • Sturdy design
  • Nice quality cable
  • Only one canalphone adapter!
  • Still pricey for a pair of earbuds
  • Will not wow you like the OK1s and OK2s
9.0 The OK3s are well worth their price, but they do not feature quite the same brilliant sonic qualities as its two bigger brothers. That being said the OK3s can most definitely hold their own in comparison to other normal earbuds. The sound quality is remarkable and for $89 they are quite a bargain if you want a pair of portable and durable earphones or earbuds to use on the move. Just like the OK2s, the OK3s can be run well just out of a normal DAP, which is great because you do not have to lug around an amp with your portable rig. The sound quality from the OK3s is a bit better than what I would expect from a $89 in-ear solution, but due to the problems with the earphones in canalphone mode they are nothing more than just a great pair of earphones for an ok price.
