The PSU


The whole power supply is dominated by a mesh design which should help with the airflow.


The back shows the cables coming out, neatly arranged. A modular design would have been nice to see here.


A single 140 mm fan keeps the unit cool. As we will see later, it runs at a low speed which means that it is fairly quiet.


The motherboard connector supports only 24 pin connectors. Other manufacturers offer a sort of clip-on system here to remain compatible with both 20 pin and 24 pin motherboards.


Each of the two PCI-Express power cables has two connectors, one six pin and one eight pin.
