Software

As soon as the 8 cm CD is inserted the installer autostarts. It is completely standard and installs quite quickly. Not much else to be said here.

The software itself is quite straight forward. Ideazon opted for a clean look without any extra graphics or fancy effects. The only moving part is the lighting bolt which moves once you double click on it. The first panel holds all the button assignments. Two of these cannot be changed. The second tab contains the settings for the "Roller Menu". This is a small popup with set icons. It appears as soon as you press the assigned button. The default settings of the mouse actually do not include this feature, which means you need to assign it to a button of your choice first. The third tab is dedicated to the mouse wheel, where the type of scrolling and the speed can be set.

The "Move" tab holds the settings to the mouse pointer speed, while the last functional tab is dedicated to the setup of the desired DPI function. All the way to the right you will also find a tab labeled "About" with an image, link to the website and software version information.

One fact which we cannot show you with a screenshot, is a little icon which shows up as soon as you change the DPI setting on the fly. This let's you know what setting you have switched to.
