Lexar FireWire 800 Compact Flash Reader

The Package

Lexar ships the CompactFlash Reader in its signature black box, with some golden background. If you are looking for the Professional series from Lexar, simply be on the lookout for this type of packaging. The front has an image of the card reader, while the back holds a list of all the features in multiple languages.


The inner box slides out. Lexar has placed the card reader in the center of the package.


Besides the unit itself, you get two small pamphlets with warranty information and instructions. Two FireWire 800 cables are also part of the package. The short one is intended for notebooks, when using the device on the road, while the large one can be used to route the cable all the way to your table top at home. It is nice to see that Lexar has included both.
