Packaging

The package of the G9 can be called "typical Logitech". This means that you will recognize right away what manufacturer is behind the mouse, simply by the color and shape of the box. The gaming device is clearly visible on the front and can also be opened up to reveal the second cover of the mouse. The rear lists all the features in multiple languages.

Inside the package you will find a small cardboard box which holds the documentation CD a well written and illustrated manual and a quickstart guide. The two covers are quite different. One is larger and very smooth, while the other is made of harder plastic and is a bit smaller. Oddly enough there is no software included within the package. You will need to download it from the Logitech website.


A seperate metal box holds all the weights. These consist of four 4g and four 7g pieces. All are of equal size, but the lighter ones are hollow to achieve the difference in weight.
