Value and Conclusion

  • Two 1024 MB modules of Mushkin's XP2-5300 cost you about $250.
  • 3-3-3 timings until 740 MHz
  • 33% overclock for a 2GB kit
  • Awesome stability
  • Effective and sleek heat spreaders
  • Great Customer Service
  • Lifetime Warranty
  • Needs 2.1-2.3 volts
9.4Mushkin has once again brought the enthusiast market a nice 2GB kit. Great for overclockers looking for every extra megahertz and for the gamer looking for high bandwidth, the Mushkin 2GB XP2-5300 kit satisfies almost everyone. Since the beginning of DDR2 we have seen great performers, including Micron D9 fat body based modules which featured low timings. Ever since Micron ended the production, people have been looking for a great performer and I think they have found one.
