Introduction

From the Manufacturer Mushkin:

  • Frequency: 800MHz
  • Latency: 4-4-4-12
  • Parity: Unbuffered
  • Voltage: 2.0V-2.1V
  • Pins: 240
  • Module: 256Mx64
  • Chip: 64Mx8

Packaging

Mushkin ships the memory kit in plastic box, which looks quite similar to those DVD boxes out there. It is just slightly thicker. There is a cardboard wrap around the box, which holds the plastic inner box. There is the Mushkin logo up front, while the rear holds a few arguments why to pick this brand instead of the others on the market

The inner plastic box is gray and see-through. Opening it up reveals the two white DIMMs. The box can hold up to four full size pieces or two SO-DIMMs. There is also an area to place a CD or DVD into the package, but Mushkin has yet to add such a medium. The initial plan was to place interesting overclocking applications and tools to the mix.
