Value & Conclusion

  • The Microsoft Habu costs $69.95 at Microsoft's web shop.
  • Excellent performance (high-sensitivity)
  • Durability
  • Tracking
  • Design
  • Comfort
  • Weight
  • Design of the main-buttons
  • Feet design is odd, and limits the gliding performance.
8.5The Habu is generally a well constructed mouse, with the only construction error being the mouse feet. If you are a high-sensitivity gamer this mouse is what you are looking for, since it is precise and comfortable. One of the things that disappointed me was the tracking performance at low-sensitivity, it still has the same problems as the Copperhead and that just ain't good enough for a mouse that costs $69.95. My reason for giving this mouse the overall score of 8.5 is the unsatisfying performance at low and medium sensitivity. This mouse can easily be outperformed by much cheaper mice at low and medium sensitivity, such as the Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 or the Logitech MX-series (optical versions).
