Value & Conclusion

  • The Razer Pro|Solutions Pro|Type costs $130 from Razer's own store Razer Pro|Solutions webpage, if you buy it from Razer's own you also get a free iPod sock. Right now Razer offers a huge discount (50% off) on everything you buy besides the Pro|Type keyboard, this offer is, however, only for a limited period.

The Pro|Solutions Pro|Type from Razer is one of the best keyboards out there. The unique combination of an iPod dock and keyboard makes the Pro|Type a nice buy because you get the functionality of an iPod dock along with a great keyboard. Not only does this keyboard look great it also performs extremely well in games and other applications.

This feature packed keyboard can be had for $130 which is the same price as the Razer Tarantula. Both the Tarantula and the Pro|Type are excellent keyboards, the difference between the two is the bundle. Where the Tarantula has some "theme" keys and a "Battledock" the Pro|Type has an iPod dock.

I can definitely recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for a gaming keyboard and an iPod dock. The only thing that I can put my finger on is the color. Because it's white it doesn't really fit in with the rest of one's black / metallic colored peripherals.
