Value and Conclusion

  • The Scythe Kama Meter sells for around 39 € in the EU and 40 USD in North America. That is a great price, considering the quality and functionality of the device.
  • Incredible build quality
  • Multiple color covers
  • High quality PCB
  • Up to four fans can be controlled individually
  • Four thermal probes can be connected
  • Master volume knob works well
  • Temperature is accurate
  • Fans start at full speed then drop to set speed
  • Different lighting colors for different themed case lights
  • Great packaging
  • Good price
  • Cables not sleeved, will increase cable clutter
  • Manual is quite a challenging read
  • Relative volume numbers are not very useful, the round volume bar around it works much better
9.5It is very hard to find anything wrong with the Scythe Kama Meter. It is built incredibly well, with the use of metal for the covers. It is refreshing to see that some manufacturers still bother with the use of such high quality materials instead of cutting corners. The display is bright and the colors used will fit well into almost any lighting theme of a case. The three covers included should fit most cases as well. The only thing buyers should be aware of is the increased cable clutter, that would be the only real downside of the otherwise great Kama Meter.
