Durability & Conclusion

Durability

It happens to all of us, we play the latest game, focus on a small detail in Photoshop or just quickly need to do a few clicks and forget that half full cup right next to the keyboard. I spilled some clean water on the mouse pad on purpose to simulate such a situation. The 1337 gaming pad absorbed around 50% of the water upon impact on the pad. This can be seen by the dark parts around the leftover water. I quickly dried the mouse pad but it would have completely absorbed the water within a few seconds. Once the excess water was wiped off, I place a piece of paper towel on the pad and pressed down on it to see how much water was stored in the pad. The hand print shows that there was still a considerable amount inside the cloth lining. Spilling anything besides clean water will surely leave spots on the pad, so watch out.
