Value and Conclusion

  • The Ultron Speecision has an MSRP of 23€. This is a normal price for a solid, non-cloth pad.

  • Very high quality pad
  • Two sides, speed and precision
  • Unaffected by fluids
  • Heavy, does not move while gaming
  • Noticeable difference between both sides
  • Laser and optical mice work flawlessly
  • Great for traditional gamers

  • Very small by today's standards
  • Rubber stand-offs may get in the way
  • Feet may wear off over time
  • Not as cheap as cloth pads
  • Not so ideal for low sensitivity gamers
8.1
The Ultron Speecision is a very traditional pad when the user considers the fact that it is quite small and made out of aluminum. The first gaming mouse pads were made out of hard plastic and featured a very similar surface structure. The Speecision does offer great variety for different games, as the user can choose between the speed or precision side. Another positive aspect is the great build quality and that it is unaffected by fluids. This cannot be said about cloth based pads. The price may be higher than those large cloth pads, but it will certainly outlast any of these, thus justifying the higher price tag. The Speecision is certainly a very good mouse pad for the traditional gamer, who plays a lot of different games instead of focusing on a single one. This is the reason we can certainly recommend the pad to the casual gamers out there.
