Packaging

You will receive the Vantec NexStar SuperSpeed 2.5" USB 3.0 enclosure in the signature black and blue package. The front holds an image of the enclosure, while the rear goes into greater detail about its features. All is neatly packaged within the compact box and Vantec further protects the unit by placing it in an anti-static bag.

A mini USB 3.0 cable is part of the extras. It has a pair of connectors on one end, in case a single USB 2.0/3.0 cannot provide enough power. Manuals and all necessary screws are also included.


You will also receive a rather large pouch, it can not only hold the enclosure itself, but the cable as well. You will however have to arrange the lead differently to be able to close it up. While a pouch is often included with 2.5 inch hard drive cases, as these are meant to be portable, it is great to see, that you can fit everything required to operate the device within this one.
