| 9.1 | The Vantec NexStar 3i is a great looking, easy to use hard disk enclosure that operates flawlessly. Usually, there isn't much to separate one brand of enclosure from another, however Vantec successfully makes the NexStar 3i stand apart with their power management feature that works and works very well. It doesn't get much better than a very good looking computer peripheral that does what you want it to do, plus saves money on your energy bill! Sure HDD write speed could have been better, but if you are looking for a storage enclosure for speed an eSATA or Firewire version would be better suited. If you want a storage enclosure that looks great, is made of quality materials, has excellent read performance and again, saves on power, the Vantec NexStar 3i is highly recommended. | |
