Winchip enters the European market with a big bang. Their high-end DDR2 with 1200 MHz works flawlessly at the rated speed, but requires a good boost in voltage to do so. Even at these speeds, it has a bit of overclocking headroom. The very unique and exlusive heatspreaders look great and certainly work well, the additional size should be taken into consideration to avoid any problems with large CPU coolers. You will not find any fancy extras under the hood, like LEDs or a fancy colored PCB, but simple, effective and fast performance utilizing the popular Micron chips. The Winchip DDR2 1200 MHz should be fast enough even for the meanest overclockers, at a great price point.
