Zotac GeForce GTX 280 Amp! Edition
Architecture »Introduction

Today Zotac announces their GeForce GTX 280 Amp! Edition. The card is based on the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280 GPU which is also announced today by NVIDIA. Even though Zotac's card is based on the NVIDIA reference design, Zotac has increased the clock speeds considerably. According to Zotac a new screening system is in place which gives them better results when building such factory-overclocked products. As you probably guessed the increased clocks come at an increased price as well. With a price of $699 this card is the most expensive GTX 280 variant launched today.
