NEC Display Solutions of America, a leading provider of commercial LCD display and projector solutions, announced today the LED-backlit MultiSync E223W display, a desktop monitored designed for cost and environmentally conscious business customers. The Energy Star 6.0-compliant MultiSync E223W gives users tools to help them enhance their productivity. The widescreen display enables several applications to be open simultaneously, while it's fully ergonomic design includes 110mm height adjustment, tilt, swivel and pivot for improved comfort during use.

This MultiSync E Series model comes with ECO Mode to reduce power consumption and heat generation, and an ambient light sensor to detect external light sources and adjust the display's brightness accordingly. Wortmann AG has expanded its monitor offering by releasing a new 22-inch model, the Terra LED 2230W Greenline Plus. Seen below, this business-oriented display has a white chassis, a native resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels, a 5 ms response time, a dynamic contrast ratio of 15,000,000:1, 250 cd/m2 brightness, plus D-Sub and DVI inputs.

The 2230W is backed by a three-year warranty and costs €199.

Its integrated touch-sensitive controls enable simple display adjustments through the On Screen Display (OSD). Its smart sensing technology includes ambient light and human sensors to automatically detect work conditions and determine the proper display brightness. The advanced ControlSync is a truly unique feature, which allows users to control up to six next-generation MultiSync EA Series displays and adjusts up to 26 settings of each monitor simultaneously via the master monitor. This is most beneficial for multi-monitor setups.

Having already released a 15.6-inch display (the e1649Fwu) that gets both signal and power via USB, AOC is upping the ante this year and at CES 2012 it will showcase a bigger USB monitor. Named e2251Fwu, the display in question is just 10.6 mm thin and features a 22-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) panel, an LED backlight, a 5 ms response time, a dynamic contrast ratio of 20,000,000:1, a maximum brightness of 250 cd/m2, a removable stand, and, of course, USB connectivity.

The e2251Fwu will ship in February and will cost $199.
